A new policy paper titled "Authoritarian elections in contemporary Southeast Asia – trajectories and policy options" by Michael Lidauer, published by Heinrich Böll Foundation in September 2023 includes Myanmar as one of the three cases in mainland Southeast Asia.
In addition to the case of Myanmar, the paper also provides policy recommendations for German and European political decision makers. Download the paper here.
