The junta-appointed Union Election Commission (UEC) has organized or engaged in various sham election-related activities, which we will regularly monitor and update on this blog.

Most noteworthy activities include:
- UEC announced bylaws to amend the Political Party Registration Law on 5 March.
- UEC conducted a capacity-building training for UEC officers from 26 February to 29 March, with the training materials focusing on the Proportional Representation (PR) system. In his speech at the training completion ceremony, UEC Chair U Ko Ko reiterated the plan for a "sectional" (regional; not nationwide) election, recently revealed by junta chief Min Aung Hlaing in an interview.
- UEC Chair U Ko Ko and Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Thit Linn Ohn met the Chair of Russia Central Election Commission Ms. Ella Pamfilova on 15 March. They discussed election-related matters and cooperation between the two commissions.
