THE JUNTA-APPOINTED UNION ELECTION COMMISSION (UEC) HAS ORGANIZED OR ENGAGED IN VARIOUS SHAM ELECTION-RELATED ACTIVITIES, WHICH WE WILL REGULARLY MONITOR AND UPDATE ON THIS BLOG.

Most noteworthy activities include:
- UEC demonstrated the use of Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine (MEVM) in different townships in Bago region. Previously, UEC organised such events in Yangon, Mandalay, and Ayeyarwaddy regions.
- UEC rejected the application of Democratic Party to establish as a political party. Democratic Party became the second political party to be denied party establishment.
- UEC rejected the application of Chin People's Party to establish as a political party. Chin People's Party became the third political party to be denied party establishment.
